I’m Janelle, the owner of Misty Meadows Dachshunds. I’ve lived on our family farm in the Lockyer Valley for 40 years. With parents who bred cattle and horses, I grew up surrounded by animals and a love for breeding. My journey with dachshunds began when my daughter brought one home, I instantly fell in love and knew I wanted to dedicate myself to this wonderful breed.
Breeding dachshunds has been my full time job since 2019, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Each day I spend hours with my pups outdoors before dinner and bedtime, giving them fresh air, space to run and play, and plenty of cuddles. It’s the perfect time for socialisation, bonding, and helping them grow into well rounded, confident, happy companions for life.
